In celebration of their 40th anniversary this year, Germans Alphaville is releasing first full anthology «Forever! Best Of 40 Years» on September 27th, 2024 via Warner Records.

Founded by Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd and Frank Mertens, the legendary pop band is one of the few German bands to have made a recognizable name for itself on the international music scene with hits such as «Big in Japan», «Forever Young» and «Sounds like a Melody», inspiring generations of fans and music enthusiasts.

And this remains true up to today: this fall, the band's first career-spanning retrospective will be released: «Forever! Best Of 40 Years» will be available on 3CD, Limited Vinyl and digitally from September 27th, 2024 - exactly 40 years to the day after the release of their debut album «Forever Young».

The 3CD version in digipack contains 40 tracks and a 20-page booklet including liner notes by Marian Gold and rare photos. Alphaville fans worldwide voted on the tracklist (digital + 3CD) in advance. Using a special voting tool, they were able to select their 40 favourite Alphaville songs, put them in the desired order and save them as a playlist. Limited 180g Vinyl is including an exclusive poster.
