[ 28.08.2006 ] - Glis is dead, long live Shaun F.!As written in recent official statement from Shaun, well-known as Glis, «I believe I have accomplished all I wanted with the project... Over the last few years there have been a lot of changes, and I feel I could have pushed Glis even further, but in the end I have decided to retire the project. There are several reasons... I'm not going away though! I wish to continue bringing out my own music... in fact, new material is right around the corner. For now I feel it is best to put the Glis project behind to create a new project that more accurately represents my interests in the realm of electronic music with a clean slate. Moving forward, the new music project I'm working on is simply titled Shaun F. and it will be mainly an instrumental project existing on the foundations of elektro, house and more contemporary versions of electronica, while still holding on to influences like Nitzer Ebb or Front 242. A good way to put it is that the Shaun F. project will not be something that I would have directly classified as being Industrial, so to speak some of you might not appreciate that and I understand. There you have it kind of enigmatic and not so straight forward as I thought this explanation would be but all I can do is let the music speak louder than the words.«. So I guess most of you will wanna to visit official Glis MySpace Page for new Shaun F. demo!

[ 17.08.2006 ] - Exciting hot news from Marc AlmondMarc Almond |
We are happy share some exciting hot news from Marc Almond. He has begun writing songs again and is currently working on demos for his next album of original material which has a working title is «Dining With Panthers». He intends to work at a slow pace with a view to a release sometime in 2008. The album, which will be his last album of original material, is likely to be a double album. Marc had intended to complete his recorded album output on his 50th year (2007) but things got delayed because of the accident. He would like to emphasise that this is no way a retirement, he has no plans to retire at all.
Marc is slowly working on other projects, one a limited only release (possibly in Russia and over the web) of the songs of gypsy Russian romance singer and dissident Vadim Kozin. Marc feels a special bond with Kozin since singing his songs for «Heart On Snow». The album is provisionally titled «Russian Orpheus» and will come out later next year (2007). Another project underway is too early to discuss. It is not original material but it may complete Marc’s body of recorded work.
Marc has completed his new official album of covers that has so far been under a few different titles and is currently entitled «Me, My Life And I» but it may be renamed «Stardom Road» after the centre piece track. Those that have heard the record say that it sounds phenomenal and feel that it is a very special record, one of Marc’s very best.
