As we were informed, North American leg of the Front Line Assembly tour will run from April 20th through May, followed by the European tour in July. Although the final dates in US are not yet set, they are currently up to 37 shows planned for this leg of the tour, mostly in cities not visited during the Artificial Soldier Tour.

Mr. No and Bryan Black known as eletro project Motor are ready to new adventure. Their second album «Unhuman» (cat. no.: NOMU177CD) will be released on March 19th, 2007 via Mute. New material has taken this mutant disco hybrid and coerced it into a sleeker and more mature sound that smoothes the edges yet retains the attitude of their previous clubland destroying singles.

The first example of this album is new single «Bleep#1», which as its name suggests builds around a incessant computer bleep groove and rolling bass synth, creating a dynamic and pulsating bionic bontempi rhythm. Already road tested to great effect «Bleep#1» has fast become a live show fave. Next up, one of the hottest producers around, Whitey strips down the beat to a more organic live sound with his unique production stamp. «Bleep#1» (cat. no.: 12NOMU174) will released as 12" single on March 12th, 2007 via Mute.

As we were informed, Marc Almond has signed a new 3 album recording deal with Sanctuary Records under which his new studio album, «Stardom Road», will be the first release in late May 2007.
This album is a collection of cover songs (although there is one original song, too) that embody all the diverse influences that have shaped much of Marc’s musical life. The songs represent many of the styles which Marc has been associated with over the years; from the «Torch Song» ballad, Chanson, the crooners of the 1950's, the 1960's grand orchestral sounds, the «over the top» pop glam of the 70's and the electro style of the 80's that made him famous. The album is, above all else, a musical journey through Marc Almond's life as an artist, a personal glimpse into his inspirations, aspirations and conclusions. It is perhaps his most important album being the first release since his near fatal motorcycle crash in 2004, from which he has had to make a public and private recovery. The crash was, as such ordeals are for all victims of traffic accidents, life changing. For Marc, recovery has proven to be frustrating and difficult, in addition his confidence as a performer and ability as a singer severely impaired by his injuries. Recording this album has formed part of the recovery process and thereby represents a turning point as an artist.
The album has been compiled with the help of Tris Penna, who in turn produced many of the tracks with the acclaimed producer Marius de Vries and arranger Mike Smith. It features guest spots from Antony Hegarty (Antony and the Johnsons), Jools Holland, who Marc often tours with and Sarah Cracknell (St Etienne).
On April 7th, 2007 Marc Almond will perform in Moscow at «Apelsin» club. More details - later!

Erasure are set to release a new single, «I Could Fall in Love With You», on April 2nd. This will be followed by the album «Light At The End Of The World» on May 21st.
«Light At The End Of The World» is the first release since the band's acoustic album «Union Street» in April 2006.
The album was written and recorded at a private home in Maine, USA. Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, alongside producer Gareth Jones, converted the house into a recording studio for a month, where they cut 10 new electronic songs in the classic Erasure style.
«Light At The End Of The World» will be available as two different editions: a standard 10 track CD album and a special 12-track deluxe Limited Edition CD album. The extra tracks on the Limited Edition will be «Be My Baby» and «I Don't Know Why».
Other news: Erasure recently released a brand new live DVD+CD, «On The Road To Nashville», on January 29th, 2007.

Finally German dark electro project Reaper are ready to unleash their debut album «Hell Starts With An H» - on February 23rd, 2007 via Infacted. It is a slamming mixture of industrial dancefloor bombast, dark and dirty sound mash-ups and finley honed techno - edged power-electro served up in the best tradition of Combichrist, Soman etc. Album includes guest vocals from Johan van Roy (Suicide Commando) and Mark Jackson (VNV Nation).
