Seems our past dreams finally come true: Depeche Mode will release their great «Devotional» as a double DVD-set on September 21st (note that date is still subject of change). It will contain full live concert film filmed during the 1993 European Devotional Tour in Barcelona and Frankfurt plus a lot of extras.
The 16 track video (with the 17th track «Death's Door» playing during the credits) is completed with the following bonus tracks: «Halo» and «Policy Of Truth». The audio will be available both in Dolby Digital 5.1 and PCM Stereo.
The second disc holds the Devotional live projections for the following 8 tracks: «Walking In My Shoes», «Stripped», «Condemnation», «Judas», «I Feel You», «Never Let Me Down Again», «In Your Room» and «Enjoy The Silence». Next are the promotional videos for «I Feel You», «Walking In My Shoes», «Condemnation (Paris Mix)», «In Your Room», «One Caress (US Video directed by Kevin Kerslake)» and «Condemnation (Live)».
Also included on the 2nd disc are the MTV Documentary «Depeche Mode Rockumentary» (over 22 minutes and directed by Nicholas Wickham), an 8 minute monologue by Anton Corbijn and Devotional Tour Programmes. With a total running time of approximately 3 hours 26 min it will hold subtitles in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

[ 28.07.2004 ] - Duran Duran to release second singles box setDuran Duran are to release a box set covering their singles from 1986 through to 1995 on September 13th. «Singles Box 2 1986 - 1995» will feature all the band's tracks from the original seven-inch singles plus many bonus tracks taken from the 12-inch versions. It will be the first time many of the songs have been made available on CD. Amongst the tracks are «Notorious», «All She Wants», «Ordinary World», «Skin Trade», «Meet El Presidente», «I Don't Want Your Love», «Do You Believe In Shame», «Burning The Ground», «Violence Of Summer», «Come Undone» and so on. «Singles Box 2» is the second Duran Duran box set from EMI following the release last year of «Singles Box 1» covering the period 1981 to 1985. At the moment the five original members of the band, singer Simon Le Bon, keyboard player Nick Rhodes, and the three Taylors, are working on their first album together since 1983's «Ragged and the Seven Tiger». The new album is due this autumn.

[ 28.07.2004 ] - New Psyche Best OfHot Psyche news: band will be touring in North America in August, and on September 14th there will also be a new Best Of Psyche entitled «Legacy» featuring highlights from 1991 - 2003. This special release for Metropolis Records is for the North American market, but will be available as import in Europe. A new version of «Heaven In Pain», and the previously unreleased collaboration with Per-Anders Kurenbach called «Foolish Heart» are exclusive to this compilation. Also it includes their version of Q Lazzarus «Goodbye Horses» ( from «The Silence of the Lambs» movie ) and a remix of their recent single «X-Rated».

Placebo are pleased to announce that on October 18th they will release «Once More With Feeling», a collection of their singles-to-date.
The collection will bring together all the singles the band has released over the past eight years from their four albums to date: «Placebo», «Without You I'm Nothing», «Black Market Music» and «Sleeping With Ghosts». It will also feature two new tracks, one of which will be released as a single on October 4th.
Placebo have sold near-on a million albums in the UK and 4.5 million albums worldwide, with 1.3 million of those sales being from last year's «Sleeping With Ghosts», which was celebrated with the recent release of the «Soulmates Never Die- Live in Paris 2003» DVD.
The band are currently finishing off a hugely successful European Tour which will culminate with performances at Reading and Leeds Festival, on August 29th and 27th, respectively.

[ 28.07.2004 ] - New studio album from Nick Cave & The Bad SeedsAs we already informed you, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are currently working on a new studio album due for release on Mute on September 20th. Titled «Abattoir Blues / The Lyre Of Orpheus» (cat. no. CDSTUMM233), the double album will be Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' thirteenth studio album and the follow up to 2003's «Nocturama».
«Abattoir Blues / The Lyre Of Orpheus» was recorded by Nick Launay at Studio Ferber in Paris in Spring 2004 by The Bad Seeds line up of Nick Cave, Mick Harvey, Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Conway Savage, Jim Sclavunos, Warren Ellis and James Johnston.
The new album is produced by Nick Launay and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and is being mixed at Astoria in London.

De/Vision are successful again as they were with releases of «Void» and «Monosex»! Their actual album «6 Feet Underground» entered into the German MediaControl-Charts at number 35.
We congratulate De/Vision for the highest chart position since 2000 and want to thank all the fans for their fantastic support!
In other news: the video «Unputdownable» which goes with the album can be watched on German music TV channels VIVA and VIVA PLUS (since June 28th). It's shown in programmes like «WOM Music Shop», «Get the Clip Rock» or even «Overdrive». Also the video is on airplay at Onyx.tv.
