First Single - «Dream On» - was released April 23rd (UK/Mute). Catalog number - BONG 30. The US release was on April 24th (20012-44982 - CD Maxi & 0-44982 - 12" Maxi) The music video for the first single was shot in the middle of February. The director of the video is Stephane Sednaoui (known as director of various great videos such as: «Discotheque» and «Mysterious Ways» by U2, «Milk» and «Queer» by Garbage, «Possibly Maybe» and «Big Time Sensuality» by Bjork, «Fever» by Madonna etc.).

The Singles 81>98 (2001)

On September 3rd, 2001, Depeche Mode released «The Singles 81>98» compilation. (Cat. no. LCD MUTEL5) This box set is a limited edition for the Christmas period and should be sold from September - December only. This album contains the two CD albums «The Singles 81>85» (CD) and «The Singles 86>98» (DCD) contained in a cardboard box.

3rd single «Freelove» will be released November 5th in Europe (November 6th in the USA). There will be 4 commercial formats: 12", CD, LCD & DVD. Video was filmed again by John Hillcoat.
